Louisiana: A Creative Escape

Tuesday, July 28, 2026

From New Orleans to Thibodaux where we spent our time revisiting some of our favorite places. Every trip to Louisiana sparks something creative. Between driving past sugar can fields, stopping for sweet tea and beignets, and spending time around the bayou, it's a place where new ideas seem to come naturally.

We also stopped by the New Orleans Museum of Art where my partner  Jammie Holmes' has incredible work on display. It's always special seeing his paintings there and I never get tired of walking through the museum whenever we are back in the city.

For the look in the pictures, I wore a white polka dot halter top from Zara with wide leg jeans from Guess and my favorite Yves Saint Laurent handbag. It was a great and easy outfit for a day spent between museums, cafes and driving though Louisiana.

Where is a place that always leaves you feeling inspired?

June Recap - Leopard Pants

Monday, July 20, 2026

Outfit Details:
Polka Dot Scrunchie - Sunviriya
 Necklace - Sunviriya
Black Top - Rainbowshops
Leopard Pants - Guess

The month of June reminded me to stay true to who I am. I have realized that my individuality, creativity and authenticity are my greatest strength and will always matter more than trying to fit in. June also marked a new beginning. After closing out our Paris chapter, my partner and I are finally back in Miami settling into our home and building out his new art studio.

In the first picture, I paired these wide-leg leopard pants from Guess with a simple black crop top from Rainbowshops, my pearl necklace from Sunviriya, and my Yves Saint Laurent handbag. Leopard print caught my attention lately so I wanted to incorporate it into this look.

Cheers to new beginnings and becoming the best version of myself without losing my individuality, my creativity or what makes me, me. I don't want to fit in, I want to stay true to who I am.

Soft Pink and Orange Summer Aura Nails

Sunday, June 14, 2026

Can't believe how quickly May has passed. Since returning to Miami, my days have been filled with working on projects, sewing, helping set up my partners new art studio and enjoying every bits of this beautiful summer weather.

For this month's manicure, I chose a pink and orange aura nail design inspired by the colors from Miami sunsets and tropical flowers. A 2026 beauty trend that stands out this year. For me, these colors represents creativity, optimism and warmth. Literally everything I want to carry into the summer season.

What nail colors or designs are you loving this summer?

What to Do in Paris When It Rains

Sunday, May 17, 2026

Paris hits different when it rains. Instead of letting a stormy weather ruin your plans, use the day as an opportunity to explore the city in a different way.

Here are few of my favorite ways to spend a rainy day in Paris:

Start with a cozy Cafe Morning
The best way to begin? Step into a warm cafe place like Breizh Cafe Abbesses in Paris, order your favorite coffee or like me a rich hot chocolate and take your time while watching the rain pass by. If you are in the mood for something sweet, pair it with a warm crepe topped with fresh berries and ice cream.

Explore covered Passages & Flea Markets
If you want to walk around without getting completely soaked, the historic covered passages like Passage Jouffroy, Passage du Grand Cerf or Passage Choiseul are such a great option.

If you are in the mood for treasure hunting, a covered flea market like Marche Dauphine are also worth exploring for vintage fashion, antique prints, and rare collectibles.

Chase Color Inside Art Galleries & Museums
Trade the gray and gloomy skies outside for vibrant and massive canvases indoors. Paris is packed with incredible and inspirational spots like the Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre Museum or the Carnavalet Museum

Step Inside Paris' Historic Architecure
One of my other favorite things to do when the weather in Paris suddenly changes is stepping inside of churches or historic buildings. The architecture alone is worth it. Dramatic ceilings, stained glass, and that quiet atmosphere makes you forget the rain outside for a while. I recommend Eglise Saint Eustache, Eglise de la Madeleine, and the famous Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Outfit 254 - Blue Shirt with Black Balloon Pants by Sunviriya

Sunday, May 10, 2026

Outfit:
Blue Button Down Shirt - Uniqlo
Balloon Pants and Necklace - Sunviriya
Calico Tabi Shoes - Steve Madden

2026 is all about statement silhouettes and I designed these black balloon pants for my brand Sunviriya to turn a simple outfit into something that feels instantly more high fashion.

I've been obsessed with exaggerated shapes lately especially the balloon silhouette. It stands out, feels elegant, and is still comfortable enough to wear all day. For this look, I paired them with a blue button-down from Uniqlo and Tabi Shoes from Steve Madden.

What kind of piece would you love to see next from Sunviriya?

Lately in Paris

Wednesday, May 06, 2026

We have been staying in the “analog” lane lately, more physical maps, sketches, and less screen time when we are outside. We spent some quiet and relaxing afternoons at the park while my partner was painting. I used the time to map out some new go-to spots on a paper map. There’s something about seeing the city on paper. It hits differently.

An advice from me
: If you’re visiting, Walk. You miss the soul of Paris when you’re underground in the Metro or stuck in the back of an Uber. It’s the hidden courtyards, alleys, and the old buildings that makes this city what it is. And always stopping for a quick refreshment at a café before moving on.
