D.I.Y. Faux Fur Rundschal -
(D.I.Y. Fake Fur Snood)

Just finished this tutorial.
The english version is available now :)

D.I.Y., DIY, Faux Fur Snood, Faux Fur Rundschal, Scarf, Fur, Schal, Rundschal

5. Daumen an Daumen!

ENGLISH VERSION

1. The fur fabric is about 85 cm long (green lines) and about 48 cm wide (red lines) - but you can also define your own measurements :) .
Seam allowance is 1,5 cm on each side!
Always lock your seam ends nicely so that they dont detach.

2. Put the fur fabric together [right on right; seam allowance = 1,5 cm, wide side (red lines)] and sew it together.

3. Now iron the seam on the left side carefully!

4. Take the longer side of the fur material (green lines) in your hand and hold it firmly.

5. Thumb on thumb (Fabric is left on left).

6. Now rotate the fabric from the left to the right side.

7. Sew the longer side together (right on right; green lines) with a seam allowance of 1,5 cm and leave a 10-12 cm long vent open.

8. Now the open vent is there to turn over the almost finished scarf to the opposite side with the fur.

9. Sew up the open vent with a needle and thread.

Have fun sewing

  32. @Monia:

    hiii,
