2 Days in Paris - Day 2

Saturday, May 27, 2017

After we had a French breakfast buffet at our hotel, we went to the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral. It was worth a visit. This church is filled with art, history, and religion. It's free of charge, except for the bell tower.  I recommend coming on a Sunday morning before it gets crowded.

On this day, it was sunny and we had the chance to see the beautiful and magnificent stained glass windows in there.

An hour later, we went to the famous Eiffel Tower of Paris. If you come early, you don't have to wait in line for long or you don't even have to wait at all, depending on which floor you would like to go. We decided to go to the first floor. You could choose between the stairs and an elevator. We chose to take the stairs. It was a small workout getting up there, but it was so worth it.

This is the amazing view that you could get from the first floor.

After the tower, we went for a quick walk through the Parc du Champ de Mars next to the Eiffel Tower. We had a little bit time to take a picture of my outfit. Once again, I wore something comfortable along with my flats. :) I decided to wear something bright and paired a blue & white striped shirt with a pink coat. If you like this outfit you can get these items or similar ones at the end of my post.

Then, the highlight of the day for me was the Musee du Louvre. It was the last stop of our trip before we went back home. I loved this museum so much. Me as an art lover and artist myself, I could have stayed there for hours or even days. We didn't have enough time to see everything, due to our departure, but I could see at least most of the famous paintings including Mona Lisa. I wish i could have stayed there longer though. This museum is definitely a must visit.

Overall, Paris is a very beautiful city with lots of art, history, and architecture. There is such so much to see. Hopefully I can come back again.
